A Little Bit About Us

A Little Bit About Us

Hey guys! My name is Whitney Knecht (Connect). I am the owner of Little Buffalo Creek Co. With the help of my boyfriend (husband?, better half?, baby daddy?), Ty, and my mom, Vicki, I am able to make this possible. I wanted to give you a little bit about me and the reason behind this all boys boutique.

In late March of 2020, Ty and I were surprised to find out that I was pregnant, after being told that I most likely could not have kids of my own due to my endometriosis. We were thrilled! We were even more thrilled when we found out we were having a boy! As the months went by and pregnancy wore on (it was a very rough pregnancy), I was getting frustrated with the quality, and over-all lack of cute boys clothes. Despite having A TON of clothes given to us by my brother and sister-in-law, which we were beyond grateful for, most of the clothes were out of season for the size. I stressed myself out with trying to find clothes that I liked and that would be in season for when our baby boy arrived. When I was 7 months into the pregnancy, I decided I had had enough, and told Ty that I wanted to start my own little boys boutique. He was beyond supportive, and told me to go for it! Within a week, I had secured everything I needed to start this venture. We went to market soon after that to purchase our first bit of merchandise, and we officially opened our online store on October 1, 2020. As hard as it is for all of you to find cute, quality boy clothes at any other store, it’s just as hard for me to find the same to provide for y’all.

On November 20, 2020, our baby boy, Lariat Nash Hawkins, was born, and we have never felt such a pure love. He is the sole reason for this store, and he is becoming the best little model. He is named after my grandfather, Larry Knecht, who passed away in 2014 of mesothelioma.

As for the future of this boutique? I know I will continue to scour all the resources available to me to ensure I provide y’all with the best quality and the cutest clothes for your little man! Who knows, I may even decide to start my own line of clothing down the road.

God bless & THANK YOU for supporting my small business & dream 🖤
